A new entry on the scientific publishing scene: the study series Economics and Criminal Law is born, an inclusive space to share the results of the different lines of research undertaken in the field of the interaction between these two dimensions

Economics and Criminal Law, as part of the research activities of the Criminal Justice Group of the Dirpolis Institute (Law, Politics and Development) of the Sant'Anna School of Advanced Studies. Thanks to the publisher Pacini, the series is intended to represent a space for sharing the results of the different lines of research undertaken in the field of the interaction between economic dimensions and criminal law. Studies in economics and criminal law are distinguished, in fact, by an interdisciplinary orientation on the methodological level and in the selection of topics.

These themes are set in the problematic context of the relations between economic processes, in their institutional and social meanings, and criminal justice, considered in the various forms in which it is exercised and administered. The critical investigation of these relations constitutes the idea behind the publishing project. The series is directed by Gaetana Morgante, Professor of Criminal Law and Director of the Dirpolis Institute (Law, Politics, Development) of the Scuola Superiore Sant'Anna, and the volume one is edited by Giuseppe Di Vetta, research fellow in Criminal Law at the Dirpolis Institute (Law, Politics, Development) of Sant'Anna School. The series is supported by a Scientific Committee, composed of nationally and internationally recognised scientific personalities, which operates autonomously and independently and guarantees the conformity of the peer review procedures to the standards applied.
